Hi everyone! This month's second voice-over will be about mastering the pencil! Since this is the cheapest and most accessible tool around the world and I am pretty sure I won't be too far off if I say that everyone has one, I want to show you it's potential. This will be literary a master lesson to drawing with pencils. I'm putting in it everything I can think of - from different pencil types, papers, shading, smudging, dull lines vs crisp lines, best erasers, sharpening techniques, hand pressure, angles, the direction of lines, how to hold a pencil to achieve different results and more! I have been on a long journey with my pencils and it makes me chuckle to see people online doing thorough research about the pencils I use trying to buy the same ones :D I will just tell you all about them! Everything, no secrets.
Tools are of course not everything when it comes to drawing so I will make sure it's 50/50 about them and techniques of drawing that you can apply and sharpen your game ;) With useful exercises. I will sneak in something about my "past relationships" with pencils too, haha and how I created this drawing for example.
