A boast, refuted

“Ah, my love, if you could just give me a second.” Your partner smiled as you turned back to face them. They sauntered up to you, putting the shopping bags they were carrying down, as you did the same. Their finger came up to in between your eyes, and rubbed down your nose.
You felt your consciousness fade away as your eyes fluttered, then closed. “That’s it, toy. Such a good, willing submissive for me. Now, I think you were boasting in the car that you could carry all of these bags at our feet.” They laughed at the memory.
“And I’m sure that normally, you could.” They continued. “But after I bring you back up from this little trance, you’re going to be feeling weak. So weak that you’ll barely be able to carry a single bag, let alone all of them.” You felt their hand brush through your hair.
“And you’ll want to carry them all. After all, you boasted that you could. But no matter how hard you try, you’ll only be able to carry them, one at a time, to the kitchen. Nod your head if you understand, good toy. Now, it’s time for you to awaken, my love. On one, two, three.”
They carried on past you, as your eyes fluttered open. You stared down at the shopping all around you, and tried to muster the strength to carry just the bags you had in your hands a moment ago. It was fruitless, they wouldn’t budge. Your body wouldn’t let you move them.
As you came into the kitchen a few moments later, meekly carrying just a single bag, your partner smiled at you. “So, what did you learn, toy?”
You smiled back. “Not to boast, in case you use it as a chance to humiliate me?”
They laughed at that.
“Oh, my love. I only do it because you love it.” And that was true. You did love it. The feeling of control. The feeling of shame, that despite your body’s abilities, you were unable to use them. It felt good to obey, even when obeying made you feel weak, and helpless.
