You couldn’t respond. All that existed was the blissful blankness that consumed all. A filter over your mind, hiding the changes their words would make. “It barely took anything at all. Just my eyes, and my voice, and you were putty in my hands. So controllable. As always.”
They took your head in their hands, holding it up, and you felt their control, swirling around you. “Do you know why you keep coming back like this? So full of swagger, of bravado, claiming that you’ll be able to resist?” They laughed. “Of course not, how could you?”
They let go of your head, which sank down to your chest. “You asked me to, so I always make you forget how easy you are to take under. You leave thinking you could resist. So the next time, you’re always so surprised that I can take you down just like that.”
