New 0.3.0 Release - Big new features!

I've been working on something special this month, people always ask "I've made changes to my character, in Foundry.... how can I get these back into D&D Beyond?"

Well now we have an answer - the new release of the module includes the option to sync a limited number of changes back to D&D Beyond.

It will sync hit points, hit dice, exhaustion, currency, spell slots, spells prepared, death saves, and inspiration.

Action uses, biography/notes, and equipment will be coming soon.

The eagle eyed amongst you will also notice an overhaul to the UI. Due to the ever increasing number of features they have been broken into tabs to keep them usable.

If you're on Discord you may notice that a project has been ongoing to provide a dictionary of icons from the Foundry system to use to import. The first stretch of this is now done and includes Spells, Items and Feats. A massive thanks to Zac and everyone else who has spent some time picking icons.

There are a few other notes with this release, source filtering for Monster Munch now available for Undying Tier supporters, a number of small bug fixes, and the ability to move the icon on the character and npc sheet to a link in the title bar.

If you find any bugs please let me know, the best place to report it is on Discord - if you've not joined yet you can at https://discord.gg/rF6XGUa3gE

Thanks for your support!

No - this syncs changes in Foundry back to DDB for the selected options. You can the use the Import to get changes from DDB back into Foundry.

Does this also sync DnD Beyond changes back to foundry?

Marius Talpos

That's awesome! This will save some time of players syncing everything up.

! Great idea, I use milestone leveling and this completely passed me by!

I haven't tried that out yet but this is exactly what I was missing. My group occasionally switches between online and offline play, where I used foundry only as a digital map but the players have dndbeyond open on their phones. Now i can finally run combat exclusively on foundry during online sessions and still have up to date character sheets in the next offline games.

This is awesome. Thanks for all the hard work!

Thank you MrPrimate, Zac, and all of you who keep improving this already awesome module!

Game changing, this takes almost all of the Foundry and D&D Beyond friction out. Keep up the solid development. I threw the dice and updated for a game tonight. Rolled a nat 20 and have a cool setup now. Thank you
