The two small circles of light in the darkness should have made you nervous. But the soft pulsing, accompanied with the gentle hum that was filling the air, had taken away your ability to feel much of anything. A shining finger beckoned you forwards. You took a step closer.
“That’s it human. Closer and closer. That’s it.” The voice was melodic. Soft. It filled your mind, guided in by the humming. “You’ve been searching for me for some time. And now, you have found me.” The lights came out of the darkness. Their eyes were filling your vision.
You didn’t notice the chrome face. The mechanical body. They picked you up, and began to walk back into the darkness. You didn’t fight. Why would you? You were safe here. In their arms. “That’s it human. Come with me, and we can begin your conversion process.”
