The lights flickered. Flashing, once, twice, thrice. As they came back, you were aware of a new figure in the room. The slightest hint of sulphur masked by perfume, swept back horns, golden eyes. The demon before you smiled. “Okay mortal. I’m here, like you asked. Now what?”
They knelt down, examining the inner ring of the circle, nodding slightly, as they kept talking. “Only, it wasn’t asking, was it?” They looked up at you, golden eyes shimmering. “No, you begged, pleaded. You wanted some supernatural tail, didn’t you, mortal?”
They stood, spinning, so you could get a look at them, their curves, their muscles. “Well, here I am, you pretty thing. So what are you waiting for?” Their voice sounded awfully compelling, and their eyes were still shimmering pools of golden light, beckoning you.
You had taken half a step when you stopped yourself. Best not get drawn in like that. You held up the contract you had prepared, which prompted them to roll their eyes. “Oh, fine mortal. We can do this properly.” They looked over the contract, eyes blurring as they read.
They took a claw, and scribbled in their signature, before stopping, and looking at you. “You still need to sign this, you know that mortal?” You nodded, reaching out, to take the papers. They held them close to their chest, and you leant forwards to take them.
Quick as a flash, they grabbed your hand, which had just been inside the circle, and pulled you off balance, into them. They held you close, and you found yourself lost in their incredible aroma, their eyes were so close to yours. A part of your brain was telling you to fight.
But you couldn’t tell why. This seemed so right. To be here, with them, held in their arms, as your mind melted before their eyes. A single claw scratched under your chin, and you squirmed at the pleasurable tingle. “That’s it mortal. We don’t need that silly contract, do we?”
