Making memories

Your hypnotist helps you to remember a previous time that you submitted to them.

* * *

You looked up at them, your moment of thought – or was it thoughtlessness? - Broken by the snapping sound. You looked at them, and smiled. Blank, dumb, happy. That’s what you were. That’s what they had made you. Their hand stroked through your hair.

“Sorry toy. I didn’t mean to bring you up.” They knelt down, to be on the same level as you. The wooden floor beneath the two of you creaked at the movement. “I was just remembering you, a while ago. You knelt on the floor, and pledged yourself to serve me.”

You felt your brow wrinkle. You couldn’t remember that. You had knelt before them plenty, but you had never uttered a pledge before. Had you? They lifted your chin with their fingers, peering into your eyes. Their grin widened, and they pulled out their phone.

“Oh, sweetie. Don’t you remember? Here’s the photo…” You looked, and saw yourself, kneeling. Then… It must have happened. Why don’t you remember it? “Still struggling? Let me help. How about you picture yourself, kneeling, like you are now?”

You did so, focusing on creating the image in your mind. “And picture yourself saying the words ‘I pledge myself to your service’. You can say them out loud, if you want.” They waited, still looking you in the eyes.

“I… I…” The words were slipping out of your mind.

You tried to focus, tried to bring them to the forefront of your brain. But you couldn’t. Your partner smiled. “It’s okay. Say them after me, one word at a time, toy. I.”

“I.” You repeated.

“Pledge.”

“P-pledge.”

“Myself.”

“My… myself.”

“To.”

“To.” It was so hard to speak. Your mind was still so foggy.

“Your.”

“Your.”

“Service.”

“S-s-service…”

They smiled as the final word left your lips. “There you go toy. Can you remember it? That time when you knelt before me, and said those words?” You nodded. You could. Of course you could. “Good toy. I love it when we make memories together…”
