Escape

* * *
You staggered to your feet, you barely had the energy to start moving, but you needed to go. Needed to get out. Needed to- needed to- The soft hissing of your lover’s snoring distracted your thoughts. No. You had to get out of this damnable tower.
You silently slunk out of the bedroom and began to head down the spiral staircase. Moving deeper and deeper into this place, into your prison, but closer to the exit. You heard movement, a deep hissing that seemed to emanate from the walls themselves.
You moved faster, knowing that if they caught you, you might not have another chance, your mind might be too far gone before then. You were running so fast, that you must have failed to pay attention. Your foot snagged something on the ground, and you tripped.
Your fall to the ground knocked the wind out of you. You were still groggy, still feeling drained. You tried to keep moving, even though you couldn’t find the energy to rise to your feet. But you hadn’t even begun to crawl when something wrapped around your leg.
You turned to look, and realised that you had tripped on one of your lover’s tentacles, which had been left, carefully, to ensnare anyone who came this way. You tried to struggle, as the hissing got louder. You heard their voice calling out to you. “Sweetie? Where did you go?”
The tentacle hoisted you up, up, up into the air. And now you were dangling by your foot, naked, and weak. You could hear them coming closer. Moving down the stairs you had just stepped off of. Finally, they were before you. “Oh, darling. You had me so scared.”
You breathed in, and as you did, the fear that had been clutching at your mind faded. It was okay. You wanted to be here. To be with them. You wanted to let them take care of you. You felt their hand stroking your face, and nuzzled into it. You felt loved.
Their tentacles wrapped you up tight, and held you close to them. “Okay, sweetie. I guess I’m going to have to break a little deeper into your mind than I wanted to. But that’s okay, isn’t it?” You nod your head, feeling so calm, so peaceful. Thoughts draining away.
They move back upstairs, you still wrapped up in their thick tentacles. You don’t struggle. You don’t really want to. By the time you’re upstairs, you’ve taken in enough of their pheromones that you don’t really notice what happens next. You do know it feels good, though.
