It's so easy to focus on their crystal, and to listen to their words, isn't it?

Your breath catches as they hold up the crystal. You know what comes next. The narrowing of your focus; the comfortable foggy feeling. The relaxation is already beginning, even though they haven’t said a word, your can feel your arms getting heavier.

And now the crystal is swinging, gently, but unstoppably. Each swing is wiping away more thoughts from your brain. Each swing leaves more room in your body for the comfortable relaxation of obedience. Feeling so good. So relaxed. It’s impossible to look away.

Focused just on the crystal, just on their voice, floating in through your ears, and taking residence inside your mind. The crystal wipes away your thoughts, and their words fill the gap. So easy, so simple. Your mind going blank as your body grows heavier.

And finally, the crystal stops swinging. It just hangs in the air between you. Still catching the light. Still sparkling. So gorgeous. And now it’s falling. Just like your eyes, just like your eyelids. Falling irreversibly downwards, so fast, so quickly, into sleep.
