Motion
Added 2021-06-27 08:55:36 +0000 UTCA quick piece following a eye fixation induction, as your hypnotist uses nothing but their finger to take you down.
* * *
Their finger, moving softly, gently, drags your eyes back and forth. It’s so easy it’s like your gaze was attached by string to their fingertip, as it wafted before you. It was so easy to stare. So easy to let your mind go blank as their words flowed into you.
The finger moved downwards, and you felt the energy draining out of you, your eyes were so comfortable, following the finger, and that relaxing comfort spread out, seeping into the rest of your muscles. So heavy, so relaxed. And then the finger moved upwards.
And your eyes follow. You struggle with the effort of keeping them up there. Your eyelids flutter, working so hard to stay open, to stay focused. But you can’t tear yourself away. Instead, all of that strain pulls energy from elsewhere. Your body and mind are draining.
Sinking into this heady relaxation that leaves your mind fuzzy and blank. With one final motion, the finger joins another, and a crisp, clear snap is all it takes to cleave through the rest of the thoughts in your mind, and send you spiralling down into trance.
