The song filled your ears. And you tried to hold on. Tried to cling to awareness, as every note gently removed another thought. After a minute, you were barely clinging to thoughts. After another, there were no thoughts. Just you, existing in the music.
Drifting and floating, surrounded by the melody. Was there a voice, behind the instruments? You couldn’t tell. All you could do is drift, and float, until, finally, the song ended. And you were drifting in your subconscious, waiting for the programming to begin.
