Anime vs Real
Added 2017-03-14 22:54:49 +0000 UTCI wonder, which body and in general character type looks more interesting to you, left or right one?
(Left one is from imagination, right one photo study)
For illustrators there are no borderlines. When you have the pencil you decide what a character is going to look like. However, knowledge of real body proportions and bone structure helps massively to play with body freely in later experimentation stages. The above is not extreme example, they differ only slightly, yet visibly.

The right one generally looks better, but the left one is more interesting because we barely see you do that kind of style. I personally would love to see more of the left one, both are great though <3
