APRIL 2/2 Update: IWBTWR UPDATE, Character Poll Selection, Animation Progress

Hi everybody! Welcome to the second April update! This month has been a new month for both the Patreon stream and the Discord streams. I plan on doing these monthly so if you wanna check out my art process, draw with other people, or discuss the comic in more detail, come check out the server!

Though it was a pretty interesting poll, I didn't close the poll earlier this month when it ended, so Kino's Journey actually won after the poll ended.

I will include Kino as part of the rewards for next month cause of that error

IWBTWR

3/3 short comics finished, finishing off long comic before the next update. Cycle through, next 0/3 short comics, then another long one.

Zoey's character is slowly building in these small comics. This is important. They're showcasing her irrationality and her . However, I dont want to take this too far to the point where the reader dislikes her, so I'm trying to find a good balance between "oh she's a dick" and "damn I feel kinda bad for her"

The next set of comics I really would like to highlight the theme of "victim of circumstance" in Zoey's arc. I will be also introducing a new character "Daisy" as Zoey's new foil, because with Tommy's status as a manager, Zoey's whipping boy is now out of service.

Another aspect I've been trying to focus on is the color scheme presented in these comics. I settled on the two contrasting colors red and green to highlight Zoey's mindset/ way of thinking. By establishing these color queues, I can easily introduce more complicated characters later on, without doing the same song and dance which I'm doing with Zoey right now. This is the same for the neon blue presented in Jenny's arc.

My fear is leaving the loose ends from the previous arc out for too long. I feel like I gotta tie them up quickly, but I need to find a way to seemlessly fit it in the current arc.

The next long comic will frame the entirety of Zoey's character in a different perspective.

This next comic is very experimental and I have no idea on how it will be recieved. It has major historical and politcal commentary so im just gonna cross my fingers and hope for the best lol!

Animation update

Due to the amount of time I spend setting up the previous streams and I haven't put aside the proper time to work on the animation at it's fullest.

Have a sneak peak on the final background adjustments though
