February 2/2 Update IWBTWR

Hi everyone I forgot that February was a short month sorry!!!

I WAS BORN TO WORK RETAIL 

Line art for dylexitard has been completely finished, currently coloring in progress. Will be finished next week!

The next arc is currently being set up. Right now the idea is to pivot the story back into a daily slice of life.

The biggest issue with this chapter is the transition stage over back to normal formatted comics. The setting right now has been focused on Jenny's backstory. It's time for the focus of the comic to go back to the store and the other characters. It's become a bit boring as it seems like Dyslexitard has been taking up a lot of the story space.

Social media has also been kinda hard on the comic. Since twitter values short form content a lot, long form content like the comic tend to lose audience attention and it's very hard spread the story around nowadays. Hopefully the comic will reach a point that it can sustain it's own userbase outside of twitter in the future.

If you would like to participate more in IWBTWR discussions, come on the server and head into #IWBTWR-discussions! We currently have a bunch of new people interested in the development of the comic, and it really helps me solidify a lot of issues with the story.

 This month I've been developing a lot of my artstyle with the flat brush.

Animation

Is going to get worked on! I just didn't anticipate the amount of work I would have to put into launching the Discord server so that's what's been taking up the majority of my time recently. Hopefull it will cool down once I'm back from Japan. Afterwards I can get back to focusing on my art.

Ideally the animation process will last 3-4months after the first preview gets shown. I will update you all on Patreon as the progress continues!
