Notes on page 28
-looking at it now as I upload, I'm hoping that Holt appears like she is stretching with a twist and not trying to prepare fighting the person behind the door lol. How do you perceive it?
-This page I had an awaking moment for how I wanted the panels to flow.
A sun moving downward, setting not only in image, but in panel lowering. journeying to the next two panels ever downward to the ground level. Then the panel shape of four having almost a "Roof" to it for being inside.

2025-03-08 23:13:03 +0000 UTCI’m ecstatic reading this!! Thank you Maren for the feedback 🥲🙏. The lighting especially on the last two pages was so eye opening to try and do. I found out some new color combos that I’d really like to pursue in future works. And I’m glad that this last page has an ominous mood and mystery to it. I was originally going to have a shot with a hand on the door, but opted out of it to press the mystery! My main concern with the combat ready pose was that given the passage of time, I’d assume she’d have assessed she was in a bed, tucked in, and mended so for her to go on such an offense might be a little negative towards her morality character. But I might be overthinking this, due to the circumstances after all lol.

Also, I'll admit that Holt's turn toward the door does look like battle prep to me. It's not just that panel that gives me that vibe -- the tall shadow and slightly cracked door both feel ominous to me (and I love it), so I would probably be on guard if I was her lol.
