The Mossback Hunt - Lineart & Background

Mossback Tortoises are another of the strange creatures in the Verdant beastiary. Roughly the size of an Asian elephant, the mossback is obviously named for carrying it's food supply on it's back, it's shell lush and green with thick moss. They may look slow and ungainly, but they run like a rhino and their beaks are exceptionally sharp. In most cases it takes a dozen or more experienced women to take one down without anyone getting hurt. So five girls who've never hunted one before don't stand a great chance!
