VERDANT ANNOUNCEMENTS 10.11.19

HEY GUYS!

So I wanted to take a moment and talk to you all. A lot of you who are active on our Discord are aware I recently landed my dream job working for a renaissance festival as their writer. In order to ensure we can make ends meet, I've also been taking on freelance writing for websites. I'm having an amazing time with this and it's really going a long way towards helping us get financially stable. However it does mean my free time has taken a steep dive. I am always working on something, and while I love my new job, it means I don't have a lot of creative time left available to me.

What does this mean for Verdant? As of the moment, Verdant is still happening. It's just going to take a little longer than originally intended. We've already decided to split up the release dates, allowing for 3 playable characters to be available for you to play. We're continuing with this intention. We will of course continue to release artwork and writing sneak peeks as they become available. For the people who committed to the Secondary Character tiers, we will of course be helping to make your characters a reality and doing Livestreams. I will likely keep Worldbuilding and Lore on hiatus until I have a chance to catch up on the main storylines.

I love making these games. It means so much to me that you've all been here to support us in these endeavors. I can't bare the thought of disappointing you and I want to push forward with everything to provide you with a quality reading experience. So I have to let it happen organically. I have to be able to take a deep breath and write so that it makes sense. Which just means it's going to take a little longer than I originally planned.
