LORE - The Geni

Throughout this strange world, there are creatures of unknown origin. Dubbed the Geni, they come in many shapes and sizes and wear strange faces that confuse and frighten the inhabitants. While their intentions are unclear, they are often thought to safeguard wellsprings of power that flow into this realm and will defend them with deception, charm, and even brute force if they must. Some people see them as a nuisance to be driven out in order to gain access to valuable resources. Others acknowledge them as neighbors and even friends. To some, they are beings from a spiritual plane of existence, here to provide guidance or in some instance, revenge. But whatever they are, stories of them flood the area to encourage both fear and awe.
