Patreon members will be informed of everything first, but the newsletter helps us keep track of who's interested in the website and how many people are visiting it when we let them know something new has been added. When we get closer to the launch date, I am planning on contacting the $5, $10, and $20 patreon members individually and giving them a discount code which they can apply to get their membership for free. All you have to do is sign up to subscribe, click the 3 month option, and then enter the code which will reduce the cost to $0. I'd like it if people used their Patreon username in order to create a membership, but I won't require it.
