Map Programs!?!?!?!

I'm screwing around with some different map programs right now, both for my own notes and a possible future release! (Gotta get those Goals! <3) There are a great many programs out there, but most are geared towards D&D. It's useful for getting some general overviews down, like the one above, but not so hot for detail. Eventually I'd like to have a large scale map where one could zoom in to see the passages and trails, maybe even get a sense for the way the room is arranged.

In my brain it's like I want to be looking down at a game board (think Clue). I want to know exactly which rooms connect to which others so I can start organizing who will be where, which choices you can make, and which path that will lead you down. At the same time, I also need a vertical vivisection because there are basements, grottos, underground cavers, lake towns, et cetera!

DETAILS!!

If anyone would like to suggest some really good mapping programs, I'm open.

NOTE: The map above should not be counted as canonical. I'm just messing around with some basic placement and seeing which program I'd like to use.

There’s a bundle of the base program, city designer, and dungeon designer for $99, and other add ons for various programs for different prices from there. There are videos on their website (just search campaign cartographer online) that show what the product can do

Roughly whats the cost?

I’ve used a (paid) program called Campaign Cartographer in the past. There’s a version of it that is intended for buildings and such, so it might be worth looking at?
