American: Migraines Return

This has been a bad week for me. I spent two days in bed with terrible migraines. The other days were spent feeling week and confused. And we've spent two mornings at the hospital trying to figure out what's going on...
If there's any positive to all of this... I am fortunate to have a newly opened hospital just 15 minutes from the house which specializes in neurology, migraines, and the like. And I have Yan holding my hand as I go through the process of seeing doctors and being diagnosed. It's also worth mentioning that the Chinese medical system is, in relative terms, pretty miraculous. These recent visits, the MRI scan, and the painkillers they've given me... so far have totaled a bill of only $800RMB (about $112USD). Yan reminds me this would all be free if I were a Chinese citizen. Yay for socialized medicine?
Anyway, I don't want to stare at this screen too long as I have a suspicion that it's all my screen time causing these migraines. I usually start work (staring at the monitor) around 7AM and go until 5PM... And I wasn't getting migraines at all for the three months of Golden Exile in Thailand... a time during which I was unable to stare at a computer screen for more than ~1 hour per day. The headaches started again almost as soon as I was back in Shanghai so...
I'm going back for an MRI today at 4PM. Will report back with any news.

I've rarely had migraines but when the uh hit they hit you like a train off its tracks. I hope you feel better and its nothing to serious. You all work so hard for us thank you

The one thing I think would be cool is more exploration around the areas of the game. Little Easter eggs. It would be awesome if there was a novel of the game that American McGee is doing. Because the story is just amazing and makes me want to know more and leaves me so many questions in my mind wanting to know more and more

I use an app to help keep track of when I get them too; Migraine Buddy. You are SO lucky you have socialized healthcare. Let's hope the MRI is good.

Being incapacitated like that is horrible, and having to go through even more stress with doctors and hospitals.. Doesn't always make it better right away, but yay that they got you some meds that work! Then at least you'll be able to get a break. I few months back, I spend six months completely incapacitated (due to basically being stuck in one giant anxiety attack), so I feel your struggle. To try put a positive spin on it, then maybe less screen time, means more Lucky time, and if it hurts to just look in general, I guess he's still young enough to enjoy a good game of peek-a-boo <3

Also, I just realized that Alice's cell is the tent with mock turtle. I don’t know if it was mentioned previously and I just missed it, but I think it’s pretty cool.
