The Latest Livestream

Dear Insane Children,

In case you missed our debut on Twitch, I've uploaded a recording of the stream to YouTube. You can watch it on YouTube via THIS LINK.

A big THANK YOU to all of our Insane Children who did find their way over to Twitch. We had a lot of fun and it was fantastic to have you all there!

If you were with us during the stream and have comments or suggestions for how we might improve the next stream, let me know in the comments below!

As I mentioned on the stream... I think it might make sense for me to build up my Twitch profile towards Affiliate by streaming another playthrough of AMA and AMR.

On that note... Omri says he's working with a modder friend to bring out a visually updated (hi-res texture pack) version of AMA. And that I shouldn't stream AMA until that's ready - in a few weeks.

So maybe we'll start with AMR and then try out Omri's hi-res AMA?

If you want to follow on Twitch you can do that via THIS LINK.

Like!!

Bonus, since you've already played it once, you'll probably die less :)

I believe that people with slower internet can turn down the stream quality on their end, even if the source is 1080.

The stream was great, there were much less problems compared to YT ones. If you have to fill in hours to be a Twitch Affiliate why not make one stream of Alice gameplay and another with the usual Art Review and stuff. Watching FontLord being awesome at games might be a good idea too. Also allow people to raid you.

Can someone tell my stupid self where to put my discord details?

Also maybe doing the stream quality less as well for people with shit internet and not 1080 like people pointed out

For a first try, that was a solid stream (especially with Martin coming in from the Font Station in outer space). A few things that could be adjusted (if possible of course): -the chat log shouldn't "clear" whenever a different source camera is used -the chat log looked "squished" on screen -some people's names (Magus, maybe others too) were black, so on the black background of the chat log you couldn't see the name of who had typed the message Besides those issues, the stream went quite well, with a lot less lagging than I've grown used to on YouTube. Video and sound quality were good, and the lag that seemed to exist between when someone would type a message in the chat and when you could see it went from being somewhere in the 30 second to 1 minute range to only a few seconds. Overall with some polish, Twitch might be an all around better solution. Also I'm not sure what counts as "Twitch culture" since I'm getting old and am no longer "with it", but I think we need custom emojis like on the Discord, a way to make donations, and perhaps a few Twitch mods to mute and/or deal with troublemakers should the need arise.

I'd totally be down to watch you stream amr or ama.

Why dont you play Grimm or bad day la?

Abetternamenow

Was a great time, and I will be very happy to hang out while you play AMR and AMA! BTW, if you want automatic recordings of your Twitch streams (w/o worrying about explicitly recording it for YT), there's a setting for that - "Store Past Broadcasts" in https://www.twitch.tv/dashboard/settings .

That sounds like fun! Haven't played AMA in forever. I thought using twitch went quite well ^^

Definitely not Adam Driver

Ooooh! I cant wait to see his Modded AMA in action!

Maybe you could stream the Pirate Jam games in the meantime! I'm not a Twitch expert by any means, but maybe assign some mod roles and emotes!

I LOVE that image!

Yay! AMR is my absolute favorite of the two (and where all my Alice cosplays come from)! I’m so excited to watch you stream it again since I missed the first time live! Maybe switching to Twitch was lucky for me because it’s the first time I’ve ever won something on your stream. Thank you! - juviamelissa
