Cheshire Kitten Design
Speaking of Crowd Design, I'd like to start talking about potential designs for our next Physical Reward here on Patreon. Lots of people asking for a Cheshire Kitten...
Compared to the White Rabbit Plush this design will be much more challenging in terms of manufacturing. But, hey, we gotta push forward to improve, right?
I think a plush version of a Cheshire Kitten would be cool. The trick will be to get the right mix of quality / price / weight / materials / and design spec. The $45 price we had for the White Rabbit Plush felt right to me... thoughts on that? I don't think we could go lower and deliver what I have in mind for the Kitten. Could we go higher? You tell me!
Once we have some design images from our art team I'll share those here and you can share your feedback and thoughts.
I've already started a chat with Alex, Omri, and Joey on this topic. And I sent along some bag ideas to Alex...
The idea being that we'd produce a furry Cheshire Kitten and then ship him inside a faux leather collector bag. The final design would be something unisex - so that everyone could carry their Cheshire Bag around town. Meow.
Over the years we've had lots of requests for faux leather bags at Mysterious... so I reckon this news should make lots of you very happy?
Anyway, let me know in the comments below what you think of a Cheshire Kitten as our next Goal... share your ideas about how that Plush might be presented... and let me know your thoughts on a Collector Bag to go along with the Plush.
The main question is: Do we want to pursue this as our next Goal? Meow?
Art Print for April
Omri's "Sacrifice Your Queen" art print is 'this month's print' (AKA you're charged on/around 5th of May for the month of April and you get this art print). And you could select this as your 3/35 print at the end of April (or in the future when you've hit 3 months at 35).
Art Prints go to special Tiers, so adjust your Tier if you want this slice of awesome...
This is certainly one of my favorite prints we've produced so far. Excellent chance to get your hands on it!

Usual Housekeeping
Once again, Font Lord asks me to remind everyone that global shipping is experiencing some sort of weird slowdown. We're seeing this with items we've sent for Patrons and for orders sent from Mysterious.
Seems "5 Weeks" is the new "20 Business Days" when it comes to International Shipping.
No idea what's going on (aside from the previously mentioned "Chicago USPS Sorting Center Problem")... but just be aware. Things are taking longer than usual to ship around the world.

The new design is neat, but I have quite a fondness for this design here. She is stately and beautiful, until she finally reveals her true self. I bet by this time Alice is wiser to what is going on. But I really do like her outfits and the overall colors.

So long as it stays $45 like the rabbit I would be ALLL OVER getting that! I already have so much fun carrying the rabbit around when I'm in my Alice cosplay! Cheshire would be a lot of fun too!!!

This way you can use more of the $45~ budget all on the plush for better quality. I would definitely get both! 2019-04-16 00:31:24 +0000 UTCLike the new Queen design. I'm 100% behind Chesh Kitten plush as the next Patreon Goal. I adore Mr. Bunbun (my white rabbit) and his super soft fur. I don't know how I feel about faux leather. It's not really my style, but I can imagine others really liking it. Seeing as faux leather is probably more expensive and the kitten would be more tricky to design, I could see $45 would be justified. I'm still slightly on the fence until both design concepts are further along.

2019-04-15 23:13:51 +0000 UTCI love the idea of a bag but not out of faux leather at all! Faux leather breaks and falls apart way too easily. I prefer heavy duty cottons as id want my cheshire bag to last forever🖤 with all the faux leather bags ive had the straps are the first thing to go :(

I don't think I'd be able to fit much more than that in my budget, but the current price is definitely doable and more than fair for what you get in return. And I'm super excited for the idea of a Cheshire kitten joining my White Rabbit plush!

And I'll be ok with a higher price if it means even better quality, or bigger size and a good faux leather bag. Can't wait to see the prototypes for my beloved Ches.

I think if the Cheshire plush cost more, I'll still buy it. About the design, in the game Cheshire is always sitting (sometimes walking if I remember in the first game), I guess it'll be more pricy to keep him like that ( but that's also in the spirit... ). Or a sleeping kitty ( has he ever slept? ). And I think the earring can be "real" but idk ... 👀 For the bag you said... Cheshire bag ... Because... A cheshire design on it ? 🤔 ( I love it ! ) And Love the potential holographic Jabberwocky 👀👀

I think the price depends on the quality of the plush. $45 seems like a good price, but I think if the plush have something "extra" then you could absolutely go higher. And I must say...I have never seen such a cute version of Cheshire cat! So fluffy! I love how you included the tattoos on the furr.

2019-04-15 07:51:38 +0000 UTCSUGGESTION i guess i love the Cheshire cat as much as everybody else, but a grinning cat is a real challenge(like the plush from the Disney store Cheshire cat it just looks stupid-sry i am just honest) . Another question would be: do we want a "laying down" cat OR maybe a plush cat like the bunny version ( not the "real" Cheshire kitten, more like a "let's say the queen of hearts needs a soft plushy\or Alice of course *lol* kitten?). I think the normal Toy like plushy version would be much easier to make (just my personal opinion.) . Oh and ya, i (personally) would prefer a NOT grinning plushy but with 2 fangs sticking outside.
