I don’t normally comment, but I just want to say that the whole reason I am on patreon is to subscribe to nerdcubed and listen to this podcast. I was in my mid-twenties and so lost after having to move in with a toxic parent and dealing with loneliness and the struggles of work with undiagnosed autism. The podcast helped me through the dark days and the light ones. It has become a constant safe thing that I know I can go to much when I meltdown or breakdown. I don’t think I’ve ever had a moment where the podcast has been poor, boring, or IDK what else but you get the point. I think the cadid, slice of life nature of the podcast itself alongside your warm and welcoming approaches is 100% the reason for this. It feels like I’m in the room listening to honest people in a world where most people are dishonest. It’s a breath of fresh air and I love the fact that I can listen to this conversation and don’t have to worry about getting involved. Rebecca, there has never been a moment for me personally where I think anything you have said has been wrong, I know what that feels like to constantly never know whether a conversation has been good or bad for the other person, it really sucks and I hope you know that you are a really interesting person and we love it when you talk about the things that you love. I hope you do the podcast for aslong as you love doing it, I hope that anxiety or anything like that never gets in the way of it. Btw I am now no longer lonely or living with a toxic parent. I am now living with my girlfriend who accepts me for who I am, I have a job that wants pushes me to learn everyday (which I love), I love myself enough now to have published my writings and build an audience, and I have a really strong group of friends that challenge me always ☺️
