A Small Update

I apologize for being a bit radio silent the past two weeks. C2E2 was a complete whirlwind--when I wasn't working, I was sleeping, and when I wasn't sleeping, I was working--and it whooped my butt pretty good. That said, I've been getting back in the swing of things, but again, with a lot of new changes.
For starters, I'm engaged! I proposed to my girlfriend of four years a week ago from last Wednesday, and she said yes!
As if that weren't enough, the following Saturday, we got a puppy! He's a long-haired mini-dachshund named Niles, and he's the sweetest little guy.
All that said, it's been tough getting into a good work groove, so art's been progressing a little slower than I'd like, but now that Niles is settling in, he's requiring a little less undivided attention which will hopefully get things back on track this week. I'm hoping to have the next JL8 update posted some time in the next 2-3 weeks, but we'll see. I'll do my best to keep everyone updated.
This post is a little ramble-y, and for that I apologize. Haven't been getting the most sleep lately. Thank you everyone for your continued patience and support, and I'll be posting new art from commissions and the like to fill the gap between now and the new JL8 update.
