R U Next? Episode 10 "My name is"

How are we feeling? BIG WIN? R U RIGGED? or BOTH?

Lets start by saying that this finale felt so weird. It started and you could immediately tell that Sooyoung was nervous while announcing that only the Top 2 from fan votes will make it?! And those are based on 30% Round 1 votes (50% korean 50% international) and 70% Round 2 votes (Korean votes only) which means that our votes didn't really matter at all!!!!! They followed by saying that 4 will be chosen by the label which left me speechless and confused for like 10mins and also brought my excitement down if I wanna be honest.

After that, we got the performances which I loved so much especially the songs! I really hope the final group will have a sound/concept similar to Scrum / Aim High with bsides like Pride / Desperate. OT10 and OT22 performances were also really good. The medley performance made me realize even more how talented some of the eliminated trainees are (like Jihyun, Hyewon, Chanelle and surprisingly Haseul?... I did notice some improvements from others as well).

-------------------------- Thoughts on group name & final line-up ------------------------

I'LL-IT! You can see how funny I thought the name was while watching the episode but now that 12+hrs passed, it's kinda alright. Like they could do some really cool stuff with it for album or event names (I'LL BE IT, I'LL MAKE IT, I'LL DO IT, I'LL SHOW IT, I'LL SLAY IT...).

Realistically, I think I always knew that the perfect line-up can't exist from this show because of how many talented trainees we had and only 6 were allowed to debut + some trainees like Wonhee and Iroha are too popular in S.Korea and I always felt like at least one will make it.

Wonhee -- From the start of this episode I knew she was making it especially when they announced that Round 2 votes will be counted as 70% of the overall votes. Her fanbase in S.Korea is huge!! When we were doing the 1-pick and 2-picks voting events, she was always #1.
As much as some people don't want to admit it, she's talented enough to debut. She was one of the best vocalist of the show and she just needs to practice her facial expressions and presence.

Youngseo -- I think she was top 2 in every round in terms of global votes so I felt like she was always safe. Super talented and always did her best.

Minju -- Really popular globally so I always felt like you could bet on her & Youngseo to make it. Love her voice and she kept on improving as a performer.

Iroha --  I wasn't a big fan of her until the semi-final where she impressed me more than usual. She was clearly a favorite among the judges considering she was ranked really high in the semi-final even after being criticized for her vocals. I'm sure she will do well, she's a great dancer and performed so well in this episode.

Moka --  LETS GOOOOOO!!! THE DARK HORSE OF THE SHOW!! She was overlooked and very underrated for a long time. Barely had any screen time before the semi-final, kept getting short parts and the judges kept praising others like Iroha over her. So when Iroha was announced I had no hopes, that's why I was soooo shocked. I honestly think she earned it; go watch her fancams and you will realise that she's an amazing performer. Yunah called Moka "The complete idol" in this episode <3

Yunah -- THE ACE OF THE SHOW!! I wasn't expecting to like her this much especially with how competitive she is. She really became one of my favs because of how funny and talented she is. I think she was the highlight of the finale and dominated every scene she was in. Can't wait to see her on variety shows.

As with the group name, the more time passes the more I am happy with the line-up especially that 4 of my voting picks made it.

Still crazy how we lost a lot of talented trainees. The 2 biggest loss are Chanelle & Jeemin imo. Then we have Jeongeun, Himena, Jihyun, Jiwoo and Hyewon :') Way more thoughts when you watch my reaction and review.

Best of luck to the ones who didn't debut. Good luck to the I'LL IT members. Thank you to all 22 trainees. Bittersweet finale...

I'm looking forward to Yunah interactions with Kim Dayeon. They trained together back in CNC.

I was rotating 7 girls after Jihyun got eliminated and out of those 7, I got 5 in. I'm satisfied.

I have a feeling that Jiwoo might try and go the solo route. For some reason, most companies are now only taking trainees born '08 minimum so it might be hard for her to join unless the group is planned for next year. On the other hand if most companies' groups are planned for 2025-26 then it could be complicated. But I could see a company stepping in to take her as a soloist after realizing how popular and good she is.

Hopefully Fifty Fifty's company doesn't pick any of the trainees from this show because they just announced that they are planning a new girl group project. I'm not sure how likely Jiwoo will be picked again by a company for a group so I have a feeling that she could debut as a soloist Back to I'LL-IT, I'm liking their concepts pics that they are currently doing and hoping this will be their main concept going forward. Saw a lot of knetz saying it reminds them of GFRIEND. The music need to be good and they need a pre-debut variety show that prepares us for the debut in early 2024.

Yea I will try and check some of their content. Probably their variety content at least! I'm really hoping I like their music because that's also an important factor in deciding how invested I will be with the group

#Jiwoo was so trending on twitter yesterday so i was prepared for shocking decision to not include best vocalist on the show in this group. I'm fine with all but Wonhee here. Again too much power given to fans screwed one of best member. Amazing how poor decisions destroys overall enjoyment of this show. Waiting for Jiwoo debut in the future but she 100% deserves to be in I'LL-IT. What a disgrace.

First, I'll start by saying I'm evenly split 3/6 of my picks made it in. That is only from the last two weeks of voting. I have voted for everyone at some point. I'm good with the lineup of the group. I personally have always liked Wonhee; I've liked her from the beginning. Does she and still need some work? Yes! But that shouldn't stop her from moving forward. When Hiyyih was voted into Kepi, I felt the same way about her as Wonhee. Fast forward, and Hiyyih is a great performer—the most improved member in Kep1er. Training can still be worked on even after debut. Not all trainees need to be perfect. Besides, if the group dynamic is good, then everything will fall into place. Minju(bias), Yunah, and Youngseo were my picks since day one, and I'm drilled they made it—solid members to have in this group. And Yunah would be a good leader. Moka's improvement during the show has paid off cause she has been great to watch grow in a short time and a well-deserved in for her. Iroha was a surprise for me. NGTL, I liked her but was shocked she placed above Jiwoo or Jeongeun. But hey, we have a solid dancer on this team. For the group name, I’LL-IT! It's a name that sounds like elite almost when said in the Korean accent. If that was what they were going for, they should've just called them elite. It's better than spelling a name backward (looking at you, Le Sserafim/EL7Z-UP, lol). I can see how you can play with it regarding album releases. Either way, we wait for music and content. For the eliminated trainees, there are a lot of strong participants that other companies can easily pick up. Especially smaller companies with room to add, like Modhaus adding a new small S to the training center, then maybe revealed as a new member. Or 143 Limelight is no limit on how many members can join the group. In the latest MV (special clip), they hinted at a new member. So there is always room. I just hope they stick to it and not give up. The show, in general!!! Judges ass, voting system ass, HYBE SS structure ass. Pray they fix all their mistakes before the new SS cause I'm not looking forward to the BS. Figure out what you are doing, and don't waste voters' time. Was the show rigged? Yes, I said this before. They had the line up in line since the beginning. They just strung us along. I-land 2 where are you already lol wtf?

Justin_AndaKage

Jeemin is my 1pick and Moka 2nd then it gonna be one of my ult group, but i don't know anymore. it so sad and confuse i had a mix feeling if without Jeemin who gonna be a funny and crackhead to the group I will still listen to their music and if you do a content about them i will watch it but not on my own. Let support I'LL-IT and all 22 trainees
