Gunwild: The last panel visually reads a little like Talps is distracted by the video game stuff going on, but that's ok.

Psu: They are pretty noisy. Meanwhile, holy wow I don't like how I drew Kettering's hair here. Why does it look wrong? I mean, I know what's wrong with it now that I see it. But why did I think that looked right at the time?

Gunwild: It's fiiine, it felt right at the time for him to be a moody boy too and look how that turned out. Everyone's learned lessons!

Psu: Oh sure, I mean it was supposed to be emo and long but I think the shape and the mass of the hair is wrong. I think what I was trying to do was like... a lot of his moodiness melted away. As apparently did his body fat to get those abs. Then again, Kettering was always pretty fit. He just never really showed it.

Gunwild: Well his fitness just hadn't gotten stretched out into presentation mode by puberty yet. Sometimes you teach green woman to love, sometimes they teach you... that's the kind of pioneering speculative fiction we do around here!

Psu: I think I just want to learn Bayonetta shooting techniques for arcade cabinets like Theira there.

Gunwild: Pretty sure in modern real life there's no way to make a video game give you extra points for handstand shooting without ending up liable for a lot of broken wrists and bonked noggins.

Psu: Yeah but I bet her numbers on Twitch would be great. So hey, should we talk about how we decided to bring Talps back in here?

Gunwild: Also because she's an extraterrestrial monster, but yeah, I'd watch her channel. And refresh me, I just remember thinking we had to bring Talps back on 'cause we'd left them hanging for so long and we wanted to go somewhere with 'em!

Psu: I kinda forget... this was a long time ago and I'm noooot sure I feel like going back in our chatlogs to check exactly what we said back then. I think we just knew this was a chapter where we needed to setup new status quos and setup things for things that haven't happened yet. Plus it was cute.

Gunwild: I wonder what kinda stuff Talps keeps in her bag. Probably sensible things, like an Operations Officer should.

Psu: Everyone should have cute bags. They're incredibly handy. You can have stuff like candy or napkins in them.
