Psu: Quick, recommend a piece of music to go with this page.

Gunwild: No, you just have to whistle on the trail or something. It's old-fashioned.

Psu: I never learned to whistle...

Gunwild: I don't know that you can ride a horse, either, but that's ok. It doesn't really come up every day.

Psu: I RODE a horse once but I can't say I did it very well... more like... I was ON a horse. Does that count? The horse did move around a bit.

Gunwild: Yes? That's pretty much most of it. I would be kind of scared of a giant ground sloth type thing though. Sloths have claws!

Psu: I made sure to make these fellers look cute instead of scary. It had to match the peaceful scene! We really were just looking for something chill to draw after our last chapter right?

Gunwild: Yeah. Although a poncho is more warm than chill... anyway I wonder if relating to animals is a little harder when you have a ro-body. You probably have to get them to like pretty different smells.

Psu: That's a good point but then I usually don't think about what Zeke smells like. But maybe we should though. Like it's a really good way to set a scene or describe a person if you can get across their smell. I'm sure a Drant kinda smells. Not quite like a mossy earthy sloth though. I think these guys get more exercise.

Gunwild: Well, sure. I'd exercise a lot too if I could nap the whole time... anyway if you give somebody a cowboy hat you have to teach them cowboy stuff or you're, I dunno... not obeying the Cooooooode of the West! Or so I imagine. I've never actually spent extended time on a ranch.

Psu: I like to think that Zeke is just good with kids, like he's just so patient and willing to teach people stuff they might want to know. But he's like a really good listener. And even if you say the wrong thing around him, it tends to slide right off his duster.

Gunwild: Okay true, that's why I wrote this scene and this dynamic they have, down to teaching her to enjoy a companionable silence. But it's sillier to blame it on a hat and I'm a very silly person.

Psu: I think if you see another person with a Stetson hat, you are automatically part of a special bond. It's canon in Cassiopeia's universe anyway. Even though the only other person with a Stetson is Old Salt...

Gunwild: Well, now we know how his story has to go. Someone needs to take away his friggin' hat!

Psu: Let's keep that one on the to-do pile for sure.

Gunwild: Don't you mean keep it under our hats?

Psu: ... Yes.
