2022-11-04 02:42:07 +0000 UTCI really like the mayor's words here. He manages to come across as friendly, if controlled, as well as perceptive. He can intuit why they're here (searching for Quinn), lets them know he recognizes the intimidation factor of the warship, but also reminds them that they aren't in the Regency and thus (I'd assume) don't have any actual legal jurisdiction to push the colonists around. He also makes it clear that the colonists see both Vrax and Quinn as folk heroes, and would almost certainly support them rather than give the Regency anything. So he tells them to lay their cards on the table.
