Psu: I don't know half of the words that Theira just said. And that's why Gunwild is the writer.

Gunwild: It's not even accurate, ocelli are either simple eye-type organs or eyelike colored spots. I don't think Theira cared to learn much about how the human eye works before she started trying to make comparisons... in gaming ability.

Psu: Maybe Theira, if she were more like a full blooded Kyre, would have been able to sense other similarities between Maddy and Wrenn. It's probably something like smell or weird vibrations in the air. But now that she's a lot more human in her biological makeup, those senses are more like... a gut feeling.

Gunwild: Yeah, food is free at this thing, she doesn't need to put herself in maximum analysis mode... also I love how in comics trying to look up at your own eyebrows makes visual sense to show the audience what you're trying to do even though in real life I don't think it works so well.

Psu: Also looking "off screen" does a similar impossible in real life trick, yet it's so expressive on the panel. Anyway, this was just a fun little page. We felt like we wanted a little coda after all the heavy story stuff we just did. But if I remember correctly, we do a few more "side stories" for a little while after this.

Gunwild: I like that I got to hang a lampshade on the introduction of this idea by having Theira just... not get it. Even I enjoy how to works. Normally I'm like, "Well, spending time calling out where your story's going like you're not taking it seriously is weak..." But Theira takes things seriously! Just... the thing she takes most seriously while not working is video games.

Psu: At the same time, I think like... well I knew I wanted to draw Wrenn in such a way that she's look like Maddy. And not just because I draw the same face all the time. So I think, for my part, we could be a little forgiven for talking to the audience a little. Like... hey I think you guys can guess they're related in some way. But how and why!?!

Gunwild: Yeah, kindling a little mystery for the reader is fulla potential. Or we'll burn the comic down - but either way, they'll wanna come back!

Psu: If anything, they'll wanna see Theira play more videogames.

Gunwild: I mean they seem to. Unfortunately, her streams can't travel back in time. Yet.
