Gunwild: I feel like Clawlossus is just transferring them to the local pool, but hey, at least they get to spend a little time indoors!
Psu: I also enjoyed drawing Penny and Minx in their fancy outfits. I think they like dressing up as much as Cassiopeia does.
Gunwild: I FORGOT EYEBOT OWNS A HAT. I love that. We should do it again.
Psu: We should have more chapters about everyone having parties. I think it would give Wrenn and Theira an excuse for a rematch in... wait what game are they playing?
Gunwild: Uhh let's say it's Hatris! I am still thinking about hats.
Psu: Are all sci fi videogames kinda... chess based in the future? Well, then again I guess we just had a whole chapter set in Dark Souls. Hey, we've vamped long enough. You wanna talk about the meat of this page?
Gunwild: You know that's hard for me! But I do hope Cassiopeia's point makes sense on its own, even though I haven't really explained it super well. There's an intractable war being prosecuted for no reason that actually benefits the people involved in fighting in it, etc...
Psu: I think we both have pretty strong opinions about wars for resources that don't really make sense in societies as advanced as the Vanaa and Regency.
Gunwild: This comic isn't really a war story, but hopefully it can still be anti-war anyway.
Psu: It is at the very least, understanding that those with sizable resources at their disposal have the opportunity to do good for others. Be they dog people or cyborgs missing their bodies.
Gunwild: Clawlossus's big resource here is his carrying capacity...
Psu: And his surprisingly reasonable, yet aggressive attitudes towards maintaining a balanced portfolio with risks spread out across different sectors.
Gunwild: When I was little I thought being "at large" meant someone was important so you had to watch out to see if they were around. They're largely significant!
Psu: Much more so than petty things like meaningless space battles.
Gunwild: Can you imagine fighting over space? There's nothing in it! Or, well... I guess everything is in it, if you look at it another way.
Psu: We're all just voyagers adrift on the same inky black sea.
Gunwild: Might as well throw a party.
Psu: I heard that line on For All Mankind. Though it's probably from like... some sailor novel or that poem with the Albatross.
Gunwild: Rime of the Ancient Mariner by Coleridge?
Psu: That story needed more cyborgs in dresses and suits.
Gunwild: It had a SPOOKY BIRD!
Psu: They shouldn't have eaten it! Or killed it. Or I forget what they did. Don't screw with birds if you're a sailor!
Gunwild: I've gotten us way off-topic, I'm sure, but the point is, it's madness out there, don't choose conflict. Choose to be excellent to each other.
Psu: Only choose conflict in the context of hat Tetris.
