Psu: Oh man, I haven't been to a buffet in like two years. I think I'd like to go to one again. Or any restaurant really. I'm starting to get a little more comfortable with going outside and doing stuff again, but casual dining can still seem a little unnecessary for me. But I can't say it wouldn't be fun. Get some nice food. Don't have to do dishes. Yeah...

Gunwild: I wish I had thought of the line "burgers are my natural prey" but that bit was you.

Psu: You thought of the buffet line I think, don't sell yourself short. But yeah, I figure any time to remind people that Theira is just a FEW STEPS away on the evolutionary ladder from the alien from Aliens, is a good thing. But speaking of reminding people of stuff, I think we worried just how much we needed/wanted to tell people about these two girls that just showed up.

Gunwild: That's true, Cally worked at Burger World for ONE comic we saw, and Wrenn was an unknown quantity. Even though we set her up almost two years earlier because I am as patient as a stone.

Psu: I'm glad that people in the comments recognized her! But I think when a comic like... dedicates an entire panel to a character you've never seen before people notice. And then when you dedicate another panel to the same character YEARS later, people absolutely would put two and two together. But I guess the reader's lucky that she only has the one nice set of clothes.

Gunwild: Also, character tags help! That does, though, kind of remind me of how many comics, even ones that get to carry on being made, end up with dropped plot threads or inconsistencies. Usually because of editorial mandates or simply the realities of the publishing business. So... glad we aren't in that boat.

Psu: Well we also like... stopped introducing too many new plot threads. Not that we don't like them, or we don't have any of those. But we kinda wanna have a few more healthy resolutions or continuations before the next decade or something. I think we wanted to talk about Wrenn for a while anyway, she's what you would call in an open world rpg part of the critical path!

Gunwild: I hope people aren't too bothered by her, she is indeed there to provide a certain motivation for other characters who we're actually here to write about... you know, I've never written an RPG campaign though. Maybe I oughta learn to be subtler!

Psu: Brellom seems to like her. But yeah, maybe she'd go down easier if she were part of the main cast from the beginning. But we hadn't created her yet! We've gotta plan ahead for these things. Like knowing whether or not the shindig we're going to is going to have waiters or a buffet.

Gunwild: Next time we're at a restaurant will you teach me how to fold a paper football?

Psu: I have forgotten the art a long time ago...
