I'm not sure what that other guy is talking about. GP999 was aired on YouTube for international audiences while it was broadcast on whatever channel MNet uses in Korea. The show was not very popular in Korea and was even beaten in the ratings by another MNet show called Street Woman Fighter that was airing during the same time. The Korean votes even went down during the show causing the Korean vote to become worth even more points as the show went on. The Produce controversy 100% hurt the viewership for this show.

2022-12-17 07:59:24 +0000 UTCLittle fact it's wasn't that GP999 wasn't watched as much as other produce series it wasn't broadcast internationally well and the app it was broadcast on was a Chinese streaming platform not really a korean streaming platform before Mnet would stream these survival shows on there official YT channel but they only mostly streamed the performance
