Added 2021-02-18 02:30:51 +0000 UTCA true story: I still try very hard not to put my elbows on the table in any vaguely formal environment, because of the rules I was taught as a lil' guy.
Also true: I think that rule's the first one to go once people are feeling relaxed at the meal, and that's as it should be.
