Gunwild: Look at all those glowy little sciences.

Psu: Ya know... it's not usually really good form to have to have a character be like... "Oh hey, it's so and so the audience barely sorta met once about three years ago." But here it's not that unreasonable. Cassiopeia's just answering a phone call and telling Zeke who it is! "It's that one person you never met but I have a photographic memory about all my rival's significant others."

Gunwild: Yeah I figured that since Zeke has never been on-panel with Penny that was okay to pull. Even in real life, we have to exposit sometimes.

Psu: Like when you tell your mom that you're doing your homework. Or when you've got to say what all these little bleep bloops mean on your tablet screen, as you explain how to upload a video.

Gunwild: I thought "the real adventure was the blah blah blah" overused line was okay to use as long as it got cut off, but even seeing that much of it makes my skin crawl.

Psu: I fought for this scene quite a bit as it was the end of a train of thought Cassiopeia had been on. Even before we started spelling it out, I think her behavior changed a lot as she started interacting with the kids like some responsible auntie. We don't really actually have a lot of lovey dovey scenes in this entire comic so a moment where Cassiopeia is thinking about stuff can be nice. Plus I got to set it in a really cool visual. Like... how nice could it be to have a couch with your love, watching the cities of a planet just outside your window? It's that combination of big space sci fi and cozy familiar earth stuff that I started to like in this comic.

Gunwild: Ya know I've never actually sat down and watched Godfather Part III, where that "just when I thought I was out" line comes from?

Psu: I still need to watch part two!

Gunwild: Oh man, I have not been as good a friend to you as I thought.

It's hard for me to think of Godfather without Marlon Brando. I guess it boils down to preference; either Marlon's smooth charm, or Al's intense bravado.

I watched 3 for morbid curiosity. It has its moments, but it does indeed earn the reputation it does for the flaws it does have. But.. it's the perfect end for Michael's character.
