Gunwild: I feel really bad for Nimoo on this page. Not just because of how sad he looks, but because no matter how you read his dialogue, he's just very sad at this injustice and I find that upsetting. On the plus side, that dude with the double trifocal goggles is stylin'.

Psu: These are some of the most emotional expressions I've done for any character in Cassiopeia Quinn, and they're all gloobs. I needed one character to keep his cool, and trifocal guy has it in spades.

Gunwild: I'm betting he's not even that evil. Just tryin' to examine specimens and stuff! "Carbon dioxide dissolved in hydrogen dioxide. Contents under pressure. Explosive device or power source?"

Psu: Oh man... okay now here's a question for the artist (ie, me) just how exactly were these vanaa gloves supposed to work? I'm glad they're taking safety seriously but just how were their arm gloobs supposed to smoosh on things if they're stuck in rubber boops?

Gunwild: They can probably be expanded through or around. They're just to maintain safety... don't wanna touch a human object!

Psu: Humans are devious. They could be hiding secrets in their skin oils and hair follicles and such. Anyway, cute details in this page. I like how Talps has to poik her nose. I forget if you wrote that in or not. I'm also hoping that readers weren't that upset with having to read the screen messages backwards. But I wasn't too sure what a good solution for that shot was.

Gunwild: I think I just wrote her "putting on her face" or some other metaphor that I knew you could have sci-fi fun with. So much of speculative fiction is just taking something not literal and making it literal to see what would happen.(edited)

Psu: Is that fancy screen writer talk for, "if I write this down, the artists can figure out what I meant?"

Gunwild: Ye

Gunwild: I imagine this embargo on cultural goods and other doodads is meant to keep everybody from realizing that the Vanaa and humans are really quite alike.

Psu: It was kinda clear that Prince Gleb's crew was on the forefront of jelly-solid relations. They were getting way too friendly with humans. Don't they know the dangers of interacting with humans what with their essential oils?

Gunwild: Plus you might fall in love.

Psu: Love with carbonated soda.

Gunwild: I wish I could quit you, Diet Pepsi...
