Gunwild: Those foil-wrapped chocolate coins or candy gelt or whatever you call them are never very good. But as decorations for a treasure chest cake? They're fantastic. Good thinking.

Psu: I sometimes don't appreciate how smart and funny this comic can be sometimes. But I gotta mention, I always thought it was "Who nobody can deny." Gunwild has a knack for old songs and englishy things that I never even knew about.

Gunwild: It is 'which nobody can deny' in American English, typically. And 'And so say all of us' in British English. But I decided in the future, they might have even a third way of singing it... especially since "a really good Peia" is sure not a standard lyric either.

Psu: The only thing standard on this page is the lawn gnome. Visually speaking, I talk a lot about how this comic sorta morphed away from high science fiction to incorporating more relatable imagery in each story. Like a big part of the fun with doing the Vraxiopeia kids is having these really suburban houses and "normal" stuff. But it's contrasted with a big space ship in the background. Alien planet mountains. Robot helpers. Glowing party hats.

Gunwild: Has anyone started selling transparent party hats with a color-change LED in them yet?

Psu: That sounds like it'd go well at raves. Anyway like.. I just had a lot of fun filling this page with details. Like the cake is a treasure chest with chocolate coins. Beebot has a slice of Marshmallow Pizza... Actually I would be that's Mak's slice. Also I made a conscious effort to have the kids look a little older. I try to do that all the time actually but Gunwild always reigns me back in or else we start messing with weird temporal shifts.

Gunwild: I mean they're smart kids, they probably don't stupidly dive headfirst into time anomalies like Cassiopeia, or, you know, every other sci-fi hero.

Psu: The kids in A Wrinkle in Time were pretty smart, weren't they? Anyway, don't tell me if you could just walk into a cryosleep chamber and wake up a year from now, you wouldn't at least think about it.

Gunwild: I'd think about it, but it seems like a bad idea... in life, all sorts of things happen that you can barely prepare for. I need as much time to get ready for junk as possible!

Psu: I just wanna wake up in the year 3000 and meet a cyclops and a beer powered robot.
