Gunwild: The real story here is that he found a shirt.

Psu: I think panel 1 Lefyne is the best I’ve drawn him. I also wanted to make sure that in most of these panels, even though it’s about him meeting various babes of different genders and species, Lefyne is still the center of attention.

Gunwild: That's how he likes it.

Psu: Would you count this as the first or second time we wanted to say, Lefyne has a couple different faces.

Gunwild: Oh, first time. I mean I guess he was a little nice at the end of that casino chapter, but this is him being totally different at the end there. Also, I am gonna confess, I've never had cassoulet. But I know of it and it sounded good and homey.

Psu: It sounds beany. I’d like it. I haven’t had a lot of french food, which is something I should work on. When it came to Lefyne’s parents in the last panel, we knew it’d be one of the only times we’d ever see them in the comic. Just how many times are you going to fit in the parents of one of your rival characters into your story? So because of that, they kinda... needed to look exactly like what they are. Dad’s got a former adventurer thing going on. And mom is trying to feed you stuff.

Gunwild: Later we sneakily revealed that she's got hair similar to Talps's "hair" because she's an ex-movie star! Which I think was an excuse you concocted as you drew this when I noticed the similarity, because you are clever.

Psu: It’s been years. I totally forgot that. I’m just thinking I don’t draw enough food at all.

Gunwild: Yeah, but you can't eat your drawn foods. That's probably why you learned to cook.

Psu: Living vicariously through comic book drawings is why this page is full of babes of all shapes and sizes.

Gunwild: You can't make it out, audience, but I assure you, on that bottle on the table, the visible part of the label says "ICARD"

Psu: PFFF. I forgot that joke too.
