Gunwild: Wrapping weird-shaped gifts is so hard...

Psu: You know what else is hard? Writing a spiel on intergalactic war without it sounding really condescending or cruel about either party. And having a son who is rather distant from their father, find comfort in their crew of friends. Anyway, wrapping gifts is hard. That’s why Kwah got a tiny shopping bag.

Gunwild: Kag sneakily holding a starch-stick back there... well, he doesn't seem to be using it, maybe he just likes holding them to look tough even when he's not starchin'.

Psu: I just remembered... I based the present shapes on dice I have for DnD. Have you ever seen a 3 sided die? They’re pretty cool.

Gunwild: I've actually never even gotten to goof around with the weird-shaped Dungeons and Dragons dice. Let alone play a game with them! I always assume that I would wind up stepping on a pyramid-shaped one and crying.

Psu: They’re definitely not as bad as a tiny lego brick. They’re rounded and kinda hard to miss. Hey. I think this page is pretty great. The writing does a lot. I really got to plan out the colors in this entire story too. I knew I wanted the start of the story to be cold, and the conversation with king to be beautiful but similarly cold and alien. But then when he comes down the stairs to see all his friends. Well it’s just warm and inviting and bright.

Gunwild: I don't feel as bad about calling for you to draw a lot of characters in one panel when they're jellybeans! So cute. There's even a rando Vanaa we don't know who's got a cool, ghostly blue color. Nice to know he has other friends than work friends.

Psu: They’re the Otis of the Vanaa group! So hey... what did Nimoo give Gleb anyway?

Gunwild: Not sure! But I feel like the thing next page is his real gift.

Psu: I thought his gift was diplomacy? See... because he’s a diplomat... Also a prince.., and probably a doctor.

Gunwild: I'm scared of falling on that pyramidal present.

Psu: Vanaa have no such fear of pyramids and pointy shapes!

no, he didn't say you-self was wrong.....he said you-self did what you did in an insufficient amound; obvious solution is to do it more! great work, both of you!
