just now getting around to listen to this, and a phone CAN actually get some kindof ok photos of the stars. you need to set your phone camera not pro/manuel then set the speed/shutter speed to around 5 seconds (no fraction, it should just say 5) make sure the apiture of the thing labled "F" is set to the lowest you can get (on mine thats 1.5) set a timer so your not bumping the phone while its takeing the picture. then prop it up somewhare press the button and wait for the timer and the 5 seconds to pass, you should have some pictures of stars! the further from light/citys you are the better. if everything is pitch black all around you, you are set for some good pics!

2023-10-15 05:44:21 +0000 UTCMan I really just wish for a spinoff X-files podcast along the lines of one of my favorite limited (not weekly forever) podcasts by Giant Bomb: All Systems Goku. 2 guys who never watched DBZ sat down to watch it (the slightly abbreviated version) and gave their comments on 4-6 episodes each time. They would take notes and go over what they found note-worthy, literally.It was such a good time since they were culturally aware of the DBZ zeitgeist via videogames kinda like Mathas with Xfiles but never actually watched it. So it's not really a watch-along, but it was, imo, an alternative way to take in the story and events of the show while also adding the outsider perspective so it's fresh for everyone. I haven't watched the xfiles Rotton Popcorns yet, I'm not sure I'm big into feature-length watch alongs in general, but this type of 'summary and discussion' shows are some of my favorite ways to catch up with media I missed and realistically will never actually sit down to watch in the midst of the torrent of ever-releasing video content vying for my attention.
