I really don't like the framing on UFO's that they're a thing to have. Like, when they say Russia doesn't have these things. It already presupposes that they're a thing that one can own AND that they're similar or related or the same things, when each phenomena might have a completely different explanation, many of which may be that they're not even a thing to own. One of the most credible explanations of objects accelerating faster than physics would allow is that they're not even an object, but something in the camera. Think of that flying top footage from a fighter jet's infrared camera, it moved really fast, but the camera miraculously kept it in frame and followed it perfectly. That's because it WAS the camera, it's the camera equivalent of a floater in your eye. When you move your eyes, the blind spots, the floaters as they're called, they move with your eye, so of course when the camera moves, the thing moves really fast but stays focused. A camera glitch is not something you can own. Many other similar explanations exist for many of the UAPs, from glitches, defects, weather phenomena, infrared vision artefacts, hot air, bugs, birds, static electricity and so on, none of which are a thing Russia could "have". I mean they can and probably do have many of them, but they're not something you can own and use, because that presupposes already that you think it's a craft of some kind.

2023-10-29 19:03:48 +0000 UTCRegarding the Betty and Barney Hill case, I think their story is a coverup for trauma that they've suffered, and given how Barney was hurt but Betty wasn't and they're an interracial couple in a time where that's a big no no in certain parts of the US, driving through the countryside, running into policemen even, I think it was something very real and very tragic that they went through and they blocked it out of their heads then later the hypnosis created this cover layer to shield them, and Barney in particular, from trauma.
