It's strange you should mention cats. When I was younger. Probably around 25 I had something that felt like a cat jump on my bed at night. But as soon as it hopped up I would be paralyzed. I couldn't move at all but I could feel it walking around me. I didn't feel scared of it though. The one time I even had a thought cross my mind that said *is ok. It's not here too hurt you. Just go back to sleep* so I did. That happened several times with it jumping up. Then before bed one night I just sat there and told what ever is was they could come up but to just let me move. That night I felt it jump up on the bed but I didn't have an issue moving. Still happens every now and then but not often.
