As a Brit I need to explain the whole Seagull thing. 1/ Seagulls are assholes. All of them. 2/ Q is referring not to the Star Trek character (or the internet conspiracy) but a character from James Bond who's codename was Q. Q was the head of Q-Branch of MI:6 (British Foreign Military Intelligence) where all the Bond Gadgets were developed and manufactured, and he was constantly showing off insane experimental spy gear to Bond (like man catcher umbrellas, exploding pens, x-ray vision cameras, telephone booths with airbag booby traps, flamethrower bagpipes, etc). 3/ Mods and Rockers were two rival youth gangs in the 1960's. Rockers were into Rock n Roll, leather jackets and big motorbikes. Mods were into alternative 'modern' fashion and rode about on mopeds (a smaller motorcycle, basically). They got into a lot of street fights and were considered public menaces. 4/ Bank Holidays are UK public holidays that happen semi-regularly where the banks shut and a lot of shops have reduced opening hours. They suck.

2022-06-04 10:29:10 +0000 UTCBy the way the classification of the forest in the sinkhole in China as ancient doesn't mean that the individual trees are old, but that the species of trees or composition of the species in the forest are what would be normal for a forest over 10,000 years ago as opposed to current day.
