Gunwild: I kinda wanna touch one of those floaty Vanaa touchpad buttons like the one Salt has in the last panel. I bet it's got a good feel to it.

Psu: They probably spend a lot of time getting the experience just right. Like how I just recently spent a bit of time trying out different keyboards before I decided on keeping this keybaord with the super loud and clicky Cherry MX keys. I could do without the LEDs I guess but I'll see if I get a profile that I like.

Gunwild: I am a professional writer, I type for many hours a day, so I of course have a top-of-the-line comfortable mechanical keyboard! Ahaha I'm kidding, I have a Dell pack-in from 2002 I bought at a thrift store. I like it because it's not mushy like laptop keys. Laptop keys drive me nuts.

Psu: Having an interface you're happy with is important. Like having an old school navel galley wheel.

Gunwild: Man, we call our desktops "battlestations" sometimes, but Salt is doing it for real. For really reals!

Psu: Speaking of battle stations, where did Zeke get that energy canon? Ya know, I think it's probably some kinda plasma cutter used for starship welding. Cassiopeia needs to cut holes into starships on occasion right?

Gunwild: Yeah, I'm betting it's leftover from when they gutted Maddy's first ship. Like they don't need to explode planetoids but cutting through starship hulls comes in handy!

Psu: On the art side of things, this page is pretty badass. It's also a really good clear look at the Damselfly. But I think a lot of the faces are a little wonky. Like I think Maks looks like he was just glued into the panel. Still, it does seem to get things across. Like Cassiopeia is realizing that the kids are gonna be in danger. Didn't we discuss whether or not that was gonna be okay? It's been such a long time since we wrote this chapter.

Gunwild: Yeah, I dunno, I feel like since we did it we should have hit the point of her knowing it a bit harder and had her say what she was thinking... I already said that a few pages ago actually. But I still think it!

Psu: I think I was having enough issues with drawing everyone in this one panel... every time we have a story with the orphans, it's always this major project fitting in everyone in the same panel!

Gunwild: And yet I keep asking for it...

Psu: It's cool, they're a group and always fun to put into horrific danger.

Gunwild: Psu, I'm revoking your membership in the Baby-Sitters Club.

Psu: I've... never actually seen the movie. So if you're waiting for me to come up with a clever reference I'm gonna need a couple hours and three bucks to rent it.

Gunwild: I was referring to the book series! You'll need even more time!

Psu: But I bet I could find them in the local library.

Gunwild: Of course you can!

always better to have a particle cannon and not need it, than to need a particle cannon and not have it. also - SHE'S HURT, Zeke, get your arse over there and help her rescue!
