Gunwild: Now, if there was one Cassiopeia Quinn comic that I'd say I regret, it's this one. And that's despite actually liking the individual gags in it. I have complicated feelings.
Psu: Ah yeah, this one. Well it was tough to draw too. I remember we had some discussions about it. But it's also easy to say Cassiopeia's just a big exaggerator about things.
Gunwild: True. And I'm not against featuring all these copyrighted characters as being somewhere in Cassiopeia's absurdly big space-future universe... I just now prefer to leave them as background Easter eggs, rather than make them carry the "weight" of the joke. Like, I think the Doctor Who bit there is actually a quality Doctor Who reference, and them fighting animate Jelly Babies is nice too... but thinking about it, I should probably be writing Cassiopeia Quinn comics about Cassiopeia Quinn characters, ya know?
Psu: I think you actually had to explain the Who refrence to ME a couple of times.
Gunwild: At least the art came out nice!
Psu: Heh, thanks. It's actually quite a fun challenge to draw real people or other characters in my style. It would be one thing to just draw them as they look in their respective cartoons. But fitting them into Cassiopeia verse is good practice. Ya know, thinking about this, this is basically Cassiopeia's fan fiction. Except her self insert is just herself.
Gunwild: Make life your own self-insert fanfiction - get out there and do outrageous, cool things!
Psu: Unless they're illegal. I mean... yeah I'm saying that as a disclaimer. But like... yeah illegal stuff? Probably not a good idea!
