Psu: Who knew a bunch of lithe pantsless women would be such popular characters?

Gunwild: For names, I went with Glimmer, Cascade, and Surge. 'Cuz they're all things that water does.

Psu: I feel like there's a good chance every alien species a science fiction story introduces is an opportunity to create a whole new toy line out of them. And I'd say the Dollfins would make a great action figure set.

Gunwild: They don't have normal walking-feet though, but they could be bath toys... or those kind you put on those stands that hold up the toys by the waist, maybe?

Psu: Look, we just need to get Hasbro on the line. We've got Vanaa. We've got Doggos. Now we've got Dollfins with their action packed accessories like blue crystal swords and harpoon pistols. Just imagine the possibilities we could have with Theira's species.

Gunwild: So, I remember the script calling for her to pick up a weapon from off-panel for the gag that these showgirls are secretly badass, but of course it's your design. That water sword seems inspired by the water sword from Final Fantasy X, yeah?

Psu: A bit, but you could also say they look like Zora weapons in Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. I think "water weapons" seem to have a certain look to them anyway. I'm not sure if the hole in the middle of the blade would help it slice through water but you can't argue with classic motifs.

Gunwild: Breath of the Wild wasn't out yet! Also, the trident was in the script, but the Super Soaker harpoon gun and anglerfish helm were not.

Psu: The angler fish helm was practical! Anyway, I really liked the designs of these girls. They're not really easy to work into a lot of comics though. But the expressions, especially on Glimmer, are really great here. I can't remember if we ever discussed the actual biology of the Dollfins. I don't think we've even considered males to this species. But what could their hair tendrils be used for? Are the flippers on their feet too long to be practical? Where did their pants go?

Gunwild: Why would they even invent pants on their planet? You don't wear pants in the ocean!

Psu: Wait... something about that seems...

Gunwild: To be continued next commentary!

I love how her harpoon gun is designed like a super soaker. ;D
