Gunwild: Yo, thigh focus aside, the actiony nature of panel 3 and the way it uses the unusual angle is really cool!
Psu: Oh no. Not Farring! I sure hope readers actually come to like the guy by this point, enough to care for his safety... I mean, I like him.
Gunwild: I read and write him with a Scottish accent. Not a super heavy one, but there. He's like, the tough lifelong sailor man of the crew.
Psu: I'm looking at this page right now and I'm thinking it's a miracle that it's even legible at all. Color would have helped again, but it's still such a wild sequence and having two fights going on, ontop of a flying cat going across a casino, that this might've been the best I could do. It's got a LOT of things going on and would be difficult to read out of context but I think the writing and the pages surrounding it make it work just fine. Using an idea bubble in panel 3 is maybe the one thing I would call a full on "cheat" on this page. But I'm glad it's there.
Gunwild: Nothing's wrong with that as a technique. I'm wondering if, at the time, I was thinking of Dick Dastardly with Zeke's line there. He was always using alliterative insults on Muttley while they flew around and got into trouble.
Psu: It is super important though that the Peia crew appears to do their upmost to reduce the amount of harm that happens. Though, this particular adventure does feature a number of things getting harmed. Pride mostly. Some walls. Some Vanaa's head.
Gunwild: Shh, spoilers for the next commentary!
