Gunwild: People like to theorize that Cassiopeia and Maddy will have to team up in the future to face a greater threat. But honestly it seems more likely to me that they'll just get super fed-up with that flirtatious space-Frenchman.
Psu: Panel 1 is the closest they've gotten to teaming up so far. Well... I mean they did sorta team up against a squid shaped space ship but I think they were even more on the same page against Lefyne in that moment.
Psu: Anyway, have I mentioned yet how much I like Madison and Cassiopeia's dresses here? I knew neither of them would be practical at all for the action scene that was coming but but I kinda tossed practicality out the window.
Gunwild: Well, you know, it's like, we knew there'd be a kinda-swordfight with a sword and gambling implements. That's already delightfully impractical, so ya know, adding everybody wearing fancy clothes isn't a problem!
Psu: There are a couple things there besides the knees that I wish I did better. I wish I had Cassiopeia more clearly turning around in panel 4 so she can have her back to the table in panel 5. If this page was in color, it'd be so much easier to read the table side as a screen. But seeing that last panel reminded me WHY it needed to be an electronic display at all.
Gunwild: I think I originally wrote it as her "knocking on wood" to give the signal, but the electronic display idea that needed to be somewhere in the panel meshed with the advanced table itself, so we got this. Which I like, it's good to keep with Kitty's "branding."
