Gunwild: Only one person put their hands up... but she did extra!
Psu: Man, isn't that just the snarkiest Cassiopeia at the end there. For the longest time I think we had it in mind that this sort of thing would go on forever between the two. Also gosh, that table is just a mess of chips. Holy cow. How is anyone tracking anything of the game?
Gunwild: The table does it for them. See how it lists their score in scoreboard style along the edge? We thought of that when I wanted the information available to the reader, but including it in captions seemed inelegant.
Psu: Ah fair point. See we're kinda smart sci fi. A future table would totally be able to read the data presented to it. However displaying the information at about waist height strikes me as an odd design choice that only serves as a neat visual for someone making a comic. Speaking of neat visuals, I totally forgot Madison was doing the "gun knife" thing that I first saw in Metal Gear Solid 3.
Gunwild: Steadying a pistol that way is cool. Even if it would be hard to deploy a sword held underhand quickly... but in this case it's like carrying your scissors held point-down while you walk. You don't wanna poke anybody in the eye by accident, including yourself!
Psu: Man... everyone's dressed so well in this issue. It's kinda too bad we can't revisit these costumes... Oh wait maybe we can. I mean... I still need to come up with a pinup right?
Gunwild: Yes'm!
Psu: You've kinda been wanting more pinups of the Green Martian girl in the back, if I remember.
Gunwild: I have? I do keep wanting to do more with her as a character in the comic proper, even as a background character, so that it's clear that she's actually been around Lefyne for a while. But that's commentary for another page..
