Gunwild: This is a thing that's common in manga where a stinger joke or something is added as a postscript, or a bumper between stories in a collected edition. But partly we just didn't have anywhere else to stick this joke we really liked, so it became a good stinger.
Psu: Look, I gotta be frank with you guys. You know how hard it was to keep up with pages so just a cute little stinger I hoped would buy me a weekend to relax and unwind. Still, I was also really happy just to get to draw the Octo-Cop again. There are loads of cute aliens in this series, and though the Vanaa is at the top of the food chain there I bet the Octos in their mecha would make some pretty good characters.
Gunwild: I wonder if that king costume is high-quality? I like how Gleb is still holding the scepter even though he's not trying to obscure his identity anymore. Like, "Sure, why would I put it down? Gotta have a scepter."
Psu: It fits him rather well! It's a little less ostentatious than his pearlescent shell but looks like it was made for him regardless. Also, I feel like it's worth noting, the cop has a pretty similar body to loads of other cyborgs in the series. My guess would be it's honestly just a standard humanoid cyborg body but the brain case is occupied by a miniature cephalopod.
Gunwild: It's got long arms... LIKE THE LAW!
Psu: It's got a notepad... like uh....
Psu: (LINE!)
Gunwild: (I'm not saving you!)
Psu: (damnit!)
Psu: Uh... it's got a notepad like...
Psu: a... legal...
Psu: lawyer... counsel... person.
Psu: Yeah, that'll do it.
Gunwild: Cut, print, gold.
